Hannah Scharf

Hannah’s background:

Hannah grew up in Germany and made her way to New Zealand in 2022. She joined the St Aidan’s community in August 2023 by helping in the Mission Shop. Soon after, she got involved with mainly music which she now coordinates.

Hannah has a Bachelor of Geology and Mineralogy and found her vocation in education. To her, coordinating mainly music at St Aidan’s means getting to enjoy music and movement with toddlers and young children while contributing to their development.

mainly music:

St Aidan’s runs mainly music, an outreach to preschool children and their caregivers through music and movement. We meet on Wednesday mornings, currently 10am-11am, during term time. If you would like to come along and check out what happens here, our first session is free!

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys cooking and baking delicious dishes, working out, expressing herself creatively and going for long walks every chance she gets. In the future, she hopes to adopt and foster dogs.

Favourite Bible verse:

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance – James 1:2
