Sadly, funerals are an inevitable part of the cycle of life and death. St Aidan’s is here to offer our help and pastoral assistance at such a time. Your chosen Funeral Director can make the necessary arrangements with us or you are welcome to make contact with us yourself. Our facilities allow for a wide range of musical tastes in the service; a pipe organ, amplification for musicians and facilities for CDs, DVDs, iPods etc. We can also project images from our data projector, either from our church or gathering area. We also have facilities for refreshments following the service.
It is normal for our parish clergy to take funerals at St Aidan’s, however, please contact the Vicar if you are wanting to involve a minister from another church.
